Troubleshooting Excel Sales Forecasting

The Lokad authentication has failed.

You have correctly entered your email login and password (the same that you are using to log into our web application, yet, you get an error message The Lokad authentication has failed. This situation typically happens when a firewall is blocking outgoing connections. Make sure the add-in is authorized to connect to the network.

The Lokad toolbar does not appear.

With Excel 2003 or earlier version, the Lokad toolbar should appears in the main Excel toolbar. Starting from Excel 2007, the Lokad toolbar is located in the add-ins panel of Excel. If the Lokad toolbar is not displayed although the Lokad add-in has been correctly installed, the Lokad add-in is probably deactivated.

Under Excel 2003 or earlier, you can check for activated add-ins in the menu Tools » COM Add-ins.

Under Excel 2007, you can right-click on the Office ribbon, select customize and finally select the add-ins section in the dialog box. At the bottom on dialog box, you can select the Deactivated add-ins and re-activate Lokad Excel Sales Forecasting if needed.
