We are very pleased to announce that we have released Lokad Sales Forecasting for osCommerce v1.0. Get daily / weekly / monthly sales forecasting within your admin panel in osCommerce.
osCommerce is a highly popular open source eCommerce solution. Yet, osCommerce was not featuring any inventory intelligence so far. Thus, we have designed a PHP sales forecasting contribution to be included in your osCommerce application. This contribution is released as an open source package under BSD license. In case you would be interested in extending this contribution, we have already drafted a developer guide.
Lokad Sales Forecasting for osCommerce provides roughly the same features that Lokad Desktop Sales Forecasting. Yet, this PHP contribution is an hosted multi-user solution. In particular, this PHP sales forecasting contribution can facilitate the deployment if the people who need the sales forecasts are not the same than the ones that are actually managing the IT systems. This situation typically occurs when osCommerce is hosted by a 3rd party company.
