First In, First Out (FIFO)

Supply chain flashcard on First In, First Out (FIFO) inventory management policy. FIFO is a lean management concept that states the units should be consumed or allocated in the order they arrived or were produced. FIFO? In our warehouses, it's first in? lost forever. We can't keep track of anything. In the world of perishables, it reduces the risk of customers buying spoiled food. FIFO doesn't work for two production dates. Customers buy the freshest one first. The image part of the flashcard features a woman taking a pack of milk off a shelf in a store from a back row of packs with fresher production date. Adversarial behaviors often warp first in, first out into last in, first out.
